Paris

A 3rd time in Paris since living in the UK, this one was a call through on route to Germany. Lucky enough to stop in and see Fiona for a picnic in the park in the sun then every luckier to see her in the show Lido that night. What a great performance she did, what a special night it was for us to make that connection with a dancer (plus some of her friends who were also enjoying the picnic in the park that day), the dancing, costumes, in between acts all fantastically produced into an outstanding show, I can recommend to anyone visiting Paris.

We have camped in some pretty unusual places and I think saying you camped both in Venice and Paris (on the river Seine) are 2 of them. As we were to depart Paris we decided the van (Smurfette) should get to see the sights, so driving around the arc Du Triomphe (the largest roundabout in the world where no car is insured to be on) while Lee kept his cool (with me attempting to take some photographic proof) to pass by the Notre Dame within close view of the Eiffel tower… superb
